NjectAI quick start: your first profile and your first improved prompt
To start with NjectAI, install the extension, create an account, answer a short interview to build your first context profile and start the 7-day Nject Pro trial. Then open ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Grok, type a rough request, click Improve your prompt, review the new prompt and send it.
What do I need to start?
To start with NjectAI you need three things: Chrome with the NjectAI extension, an email address or a Google account, and a payment method for the 7-day trial. Improve your prompt, Context Inject and Autocomplete need Nject Pro, and the trial gives you all of it.
- Chrome with the extension. Add Nject from the Chrome Web Store. The install guide shows each click.
- An email address or a Google account. You sign up with either one.
- A payment method. Checkout asks for one when the trial starts, and the first charge comes when the trial ends.
How do I create my NjectAI account?
You create your NjectAI account on the sign-up page, which the extension opens for you after you install it, or from Get Started in the extension. Sign-up asks for your name, your email and a password, then for a 6-digit code from your email.
- Open the sign-up page, or click Get Started in the Nject toolbar menu.
- Fill in First name, Last name, Email Address and Create your password.
- Keep the box "By continuing, you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy" ticked. Sign-up needs it.
- Click Create account.
- On Verify your identity, enter the 6-digit code sent to your email and click Verify code.
Your password needs at least 8 characters, with one uppercase letter, one number and one special character. NjectAI turns down a password that appears in known data breaches, with "This password has appeared in a data breach. Please choose a different one." If the code does not arrive, click Resend verification code, which counts down before you can ask again. To use your Google account instead of a password, click Continue with Google.
How do I set up my first context profile?
After you verify your email, NjectAI shows a short guide of three screens: "Meet Your AI Profiles", "Bring the Right Context to Any AI" and "Type It Rough. Prompt It Sharp". Click Next, Next, then Start to open the interview. If you came from Get Started in the extension, you go straight to the interview.
The interview opens on "What will this profile create?". Pick a kind and click Create Profile.

Then answer the questions, one at a time. Each kind asks what the profile is for and lets you give it a name, and any optional questions come last. How does the 7-day trial start?
The 7-day trial starts at the end of the interview. An account without Nject Pro sees Profile overview ("Almost done! Let's double-check your answer!") with a summary of your answers, and the trial button below it.
- Choose how to pay after the trial: Monthly or Yearly, save 22%.
- Click Start 7-day trial. The line under it says what you pay once the trial is over: "Then $9 a month. Cancel anytime." or the yearly price, $84 a year.
- Enter your payment details in Stripe's form, in the window "Start your 7-day trial". Checkout accepts promotion codes.
Checkout always asks for a payment method, and each customer gets one trial. Your profile is saved with your answers, and once the trial starts NjectAI reads its links and files and makes it ready to use. If you cancel before the trial ends, you keep Nject Pro until its last day and are not charged. If your account already has Nject Pro, Continue creates the profile and takes you to the dashboard. How do I improve my first prompt?
Try Improve your prompt in ChatGPT first. It works the same way in Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Grok.
- Open ChatGPT and start a new chat.
- Type a rough request in the message box: at least 3 characters and up to 1,000.
- When the pill appears in the message box, click its first button, Improve your prompt.
- Read the new prompt, which replaces your text in the box. Change anything you like.
- Send it as you always do.

The button now reads Replay enhancement: click it to rewrite again, or edit the text to get Improve your prompt back. If NjectAI shows "Welcome to Nject!", your account has no profile yet: click Create your first context profile. More in Improve your prompt.
How do I add my context to a new chat?
When you are signed in and open a chat NjectAI has not seen before, a bar unfolds next to the Nject button in the site's header and asks "Which profile you are using this time?". Pick a profile from its menu, and the bar reads "Inject your context". Click Inject, and NjectAI shows "Context added. Sends with your next message.": your context goes out after your message when you send it.
The bar goes away as soon as you start typing, so pick the profile first. Any time before you send, you can also click Context Inject, the syringe in the pill. More in Context Inject.
