> NjectAI has one plan, Nject Pro, at $9 a month or $84 a year, which works out to $7 a month. It starts with a 7-day trial that asks for a payment method at checkout. Pro unlocks Improve your prompt, Context Inject, Autocomplete and your profiles, and you can cancel any time from the Subscription tab.

## How much does NjectAI cost?

Nject Pro costs $9 a month when you pay monthly, or $84 a year when you pay yearly. The yearly price works out to $7 a month, 22% less than twelve monthly payments. Prices are in US dollars. Either way, the plan starts with a 7-day trial for a customer who has not had one.

| Billing | Price | Works out to |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Monthly | $9 a month | $9 a month |
| Yearly | $84 a year | $7 a month, save 22% |

## What does Nject Pro include?

Nject Pro unlocks every NjectAI feature: Improve your prompt, Context Inject, Autocomplete and your context profiles. You can keep up to 10 profiles, of any kind, and your first one can start from a ready-made template. The profile limit is the same for every account and counts every profile, templates included.

| Feature | With Nject Pro | Without a plan |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Improve your prompt](https://nject.ai/docs/improve-your-prompt) | Yes | Opens the Nject Pro window |
| [Context Inject](https://nject.ai/docs/context-inject) | Yes | Opens the Nject Pro window |
| [Autocomplete](https://nject.ai/docs/autocomplete) | Yes | The switch is locked: "Available with Nject Pro" |
| [Context profiles](https://nject.ai/docs/context-profiles) | Up to 10 | Hidden in the dashboard until you subscribe |
| Template profiles | Yes | No |

Improve your prompt, Autocomplete and file uploads have per-user limits per minute, per hour and per day.

## Can I use NjectAI without a subscription?

Nject Pro is the only NjectAI plan, so NjectAI's features need it. Without the plan, Improve your prompt and Context Inject open the Nject Pro window, which says "Enhance, autocomplete and context inject are part of Nject Pro." and offers **Upgrade to Pro**. The Autocomplete switch in the toolbar menu stays locked.

You can still create an account and finish the interview. The profile is saved and waits for payment, and NjectAI reads its links and files once your plan starts. Until then, the dashboard shows a "Create your first profile" card and the Nject Pro card with **Get Pro** instead of your profiles.

:::note
Saving chats to memory needs only sign-in. While you are signed in and the Nject switch is on, NjectAI saves the messages you send and the AI's answers, with or without a plan. See [Privacy and data](https://nject.ai/docs/privacy-and-data).

## How does the 7-day trial work?

The 7-day trial gives you all of Nject Pro. Checkout always asks for a payment method, and the first charge comes when the trial ends: $9 a month or $84 a year, whichever you chose. Each customer gets one trial, so if you have had one before, the paid plan starts right away.

If you cancel during the trial, you keep Nject Pro until the trial's last day and are not charged. If the trial ends with no payment method on file, the subscription is cancelled. You start the trial at the end of the interview with **Start 7-day trial**, or from **Get Pro** in the Subscription tab: see the [quick start](https://nject.ai/docs/quick-start).

## How do I pay, change my card or see invoices?

You manage payment in the **Subscription** tab of your [dashboard](https://nject.ai/dashboard?tab=billing). Without a plan, it shows "No active plan", a choice of **Monthly** or **Yearly, save 22%**, the price and **Get Pro**. Get Pro opens "Get Nject Pro" with Stripe's form inside the page, and checkout accepts promotion codes.

With a plan, the tab shows Nject Pro with the date it renews or ends, and these controls:

| To do this | Use this |
| --- | --- |
| See invoices and receipts | **Billing history**, which opens Stripe's billing portal |
| Add a card | **Add card** in the **Payment method** card, which opens Stripe's portal |
| Remove a card | The remove button beside the card, then **Remove card** in "Remove this card?" |
| Cancel or resume | The **Manage plan** card |

You cannot remove the only card paying for your plan. NjectAI then says "This is the only card paying for your plan. Add another card first, or cancel your plan."

## How do I cancel Nject Pro?

You cancel Nject Pro in the Subscription tab, and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, or of the trial. Nothing is charged after that.

:::steps
1. Open the **Subscription** tab of your [dashboard](https://nject.ai/dashboard?tab=billing).
2. Open the **Manage plan** card. It reads "Edit Plan" when open.
3. Click **Cancel subscription**.
4. In "Cancel your Pro plan?", click **Cancel subscription** to confirm, or **Keep Pro** to stay.
:::

The dialog tells you the date you keep Pro until, and during a trial it adds that you won't be charged. A message then confirms that your plan won't renew and names that date. Until then, **Resume subscription** in the same card puts the plan back, and it renews as usual.

## What happens to my profiles when my plan ends?

When Nject Pro ends, Improve your prompt, Context Inject and Autocomplete stop working, and NjectAI deletes nothing. Your profiles, their files and your memory stay on your account. The dashboard hides your profiles and shows the Nject Pro card with **Get Pro** in their place. Subscribe again and your profiles are back.

To delete a profile or your account, see [Manage profiles](https://nject.ai/docs/manage-profiles) and [Privacy and data](https://nject.ai/docs/privacy-and-data).

## Can I get a refund?

Cancelling stops the next renewal, and it issues no refund by itself. Refunds follow section 9 of the [Terms of Service](https://nject.ai/terms-of-service#9-refunds-and-withdrawal), "Refunds and withdrawal". To ask about one, write to info@nject.ai or use the **Support** tab in your dashboard. Support replies in up to 3 business days.

## What if my payment does not go through?

If a renewal fails, the Subscription tab shows "Your last payment didn't go through. Update your card to keep Pro." Add a working card with **Add card** in the Payment method card.

NjectAI also emails you about your plan, from Nject.ai:

| Email subject | When it comes |
| --- | --- |
| Your Nject plan is active | Your plan or trial has started |
| Your Nject plan is cancelled | You cancel your plan, or it is cancelled straight away |
| Your Nject payment did not go through | A payment failed and will be tried again |
